"Barrel-fermented and matured for 11 months in 60% new/40% 1yo French oak puncheons. 100% mlf. A deep gold colour in the glass. Aromas of toasted nuts and nougat with some ripe stone fruit and honey notes. Full-flavoured and viscous in texture with well-balanced acidity."

"An attractive, fresh array of lemons and peaches with gentle, spicy notes and cedary oak influence. Really complex. There’s a gentle textural quality that charms on the palate, carrying long, luscious yet fresh peach flavors. Elegant. Drink now. Screw cap."
The Bartl is a special vineyard, planted by our special friend Stephan Bartl.
It produces wines of rare intensity and concentration, cropped at 1.5-2 tonnes to the acre it undergoes indigenous yeast fermentation in 100% new French oak puncheons. Then racked off to around 80% new French oak for 12 months where it naturally goes through MLF.
The wine displays ripe nectarines and complex spicy notes, we made only 1200 bottles and this wine is sure to sell quickly.
