From the 1981 planted Rebenberg Vineyard at Mount Duneed, whole bunch pressed, fermented in new French oak and matured in 100% new French oak for 13 months.
Dark cherry, satsuma plums and red berry aromas savory woodland earthiness with crunchy red berries and fine, firm tannins. An elegant mouthfeel with a fresh finish characteristic of Pinot Noir.

“This wine has a beautiful power from the black clay and the typical flavour profile is dominated by rich dark cherry, but always retaining good acidity. The black clay gives it a great, dark brooding character.”
