For those of you that have followed our story, you would know that over our almost 30 year history, Ray and Maree’s love affair with Burgundian varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir has been equally matched by their fascination of all things wild and wonderful in wine. This award is a reflection of the latter. The Lethbridge ‘Yellow’ is a result of Ray’s exploration and interpretation of the renown Vin Jaune wines, one of the most unique and revered wine styles in the world, hailing from the Jura, France.

Made in a complex Alsatian style, small batches are wild fermented in new French oak. Some portions have a touch of skin contact. Aged on fine lees in foudre before being bottled young and fresh.
