Fermented and rested in 800Lt handmade Tuscan amphora for 11 monthts. Juicy black plums and dried herbs on the nose, blackberry, cherries and cooking spices on the palate, and most of all deliciously drinkable.
For no other reason than to be delicious. We suggest best drunk at fourteen degrees and not long after it comes into your possession. Co-fermented Sagrantino and Nero d'Avola.
These grapes are sourced from the North facing Merricks, Mornington Peninsula vineyard on red volcanic ferrous eroded basaltic soils. It is elegant on the nose, expressing restrained raspberry and red cherry. The palate continues with red cherry fruit, grilled peaches and hints of herb and spice.
From our very special Lethbridge 'Block 4', this wine is richly textured, heady with powerful red berry and maraschino cherry fruit, and licorice with sweet spices over vanilla and smoke.
From a very cool, long ripening season, this wine shows all the hallmarks of cool-climate Shiraz. White pepper, rosemary & cooking spice on the nose, delicate black fruits and more pepper on the palate, a delicious medium-bodied wine.
Our 2018 Lethbridge Rebenberg Shiraz is a true reflection of this extraordinary vineyard. This is a generous, but not excessive, full and round compote of black fruit and fine-grained tannins.
Intense red berries and spice dominate this wine. It inhabits a goldilocks zone between the savory, pepperiness of Syrah and the sweet spiciness of shiraz.
At Lethbridge, we have dabbled with Malbec over the years, and we love exploring Argentinean wines. But if you know us, you know we like to push boundaries and experiment, so this wine is our Argentinean-style blend of Malbec and Merlot, La Mezcla.
