The Bartl is a special vineyard, planted by our special friend Stephan Bartl.
It produces wines of rare intensity and concentration, cropped at 1.5-2 tonnes to the acre it undergoes indigenous yeast fermentation in 100% new French oak puncheons. Then racked off to around 80% new French oak for 12 months where it naturally goes through MLF.
The wine displays ripe nectarines and complex spicy notes, we made only 1200 bottles and this wine is sure to sell quickly.
