2012 Chardonnay
The fruit for this wine comes from the Suma Park Vineyard on the Bellarine Peninsular yielding one tonne/acre. The hand-picked fruit was whole bunch pressed into 100% new French oak puncheons for fermentation and MLF by indigenous yeast on full solids. The wine components were left in barrel on gross lees for a further 11 months prior to blending and bottling.

James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion, November 2014
A full-on curate's egg: the gold, bronze-tinged colour signals the slight oxidation that occurred before, or possibly during, the bottling of the wine. It still has resplendent flavours of peach (both white and yellow), and good acidity to back up that fruit. Find review here.
Huon Hooke, October 2014
Deep yellow colour, appearing advanced. Toasty and lees-derived complexities to sniff. The palate is quite full and round, rich and with a slight tannin grip. Good length, but it is rather forward. Find review here.

The 2012 is another excellent release from one of Geelong's premier producers. The wine even though an infant is layered and melds primary fruit influences with richer winemaker derived characters and precise acidity with savoury edged stone fruits front and centre. Give this wine time and even more of the textural nuances will emerge. Find review here.
