These grapes are sourced from the North facing Merricks, Mornington Peninsula vineyard on red volcanic ferrous eroded basaltic soils. It is elegant on the nose, expressing restrained raspberry and red cherry. The palate continues with red cherry fruit, grilled peaches and hints of herb and spice.
From our very special Lethbridge 'Block 4', this wine is richly textured, heady with powerful red berry and maraschino cherry fruit, and licorice with sweet spices over vanilla and smoke.
Our 2018 Lethbridge Rebenberg Shiraz is a true reflection of this extraordinary vineyard. This is a generous, but not excessive, full and round compote of black fruit and fine-grained tannins.
