96 points - Halliday Wine Companion! We have been working with Angela Vaughan and her beautiful Henty vineyards for over a decade. In this time we have identified a small parcel of Pinot Gris, uniquie in terroir, whose quality and characteristics are wholly deserving of a single vineyard wine.
Originally from the Southern Italian region of Campania and perfectly suited to our changing climate. A low yielding, cool year like 2023, creates a wine with personality. It interlaces complex aroma and honeyed golden flavours within a voluptuous but racy palate.
This wine is almost gone.. get in quick! Reminiscent of walking in an alpine meadow on a crisp spring day; alpine flowers, mint, wild herbs with racey acidity.
From a cool climate vineyard in Mount Gambier - this Riesling has complex aromas of citrus and sherbet interlaced with musk stick and floral notes. These play wonderfully with a crystalline acidity and long fresh finish.
97 points - Halliday Wine Companion!"A penetrating nose with its core of citrus fruits, floral notes and crushed rock. There's a hint of sweetness, but this is essentially a dry wine, with mouth-tingling and invigorating acidity ensuring it's balanced and fresh."
At Lethbridge the idea of simple is an anathema. We use old school techniques including wild yeast, lees contact and maturation in large old casks. Sophisticated and minerally, our Sauvignon Blanc is made to confound and intrigue.
Enjoy the bouquet of dry hay, green apple, grapefruit pith, lemon and lanolin while the palate has medium weight with beautiful length and persistent acidity
A vibrant wine where a riot of orchard aromatics are the prelude for a floral palate of white nectarine, overlaying a delicate creaminess. Beautiful drinking.
A nose of quince and stonefruit, white beach and green nectarine, stuck match and lime citrus. The palate has great tension, flinty minerality and beautiful acidity, reminiscent of somewhere in the old world that we are not allowed to mention. So taste for yourselves & guess...
What does one buy for a husband of almost twenty years who buys for himself whatever he wants! A great Nebbiolo rivals Pinot Noir in its elusiveness and Ray loves nothing more than a challenge...
