This wine, Le Droit, is 50% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2021 vintage in Geelong was cool and very long, making it exceptional for these varieties. Le Droit is characterised by a voluptuous palate of dark berry, licorice, and spice.
This wine is almost gone.. get in quick! Reminiscent of walking in an alpine meadow on a crisp spring day; alpine flowers, mint, wild herbs with racey acidity.
At Lethbridge the idea of simple is an anathema. We use old school techniques including wild yeast, lees contact and maturation in large old casks. Sophisticated and minerally, our Sauvignon Blanc is made to confound and intrigue.
Hugo George is not often made but when it is, it’s an absolute delight. Savory notes of sour cherries, lavender, and plump, juicy Victoria Plumbs. The back palate has a woodfired, smokey finish with sweet spices and cured meat.
Made from one of Geelong's original vineyards, this wine is one that we hold very close to our hearts. It is vibrant with lemon grass, fresh herbs on the nose, and a touch of toasty oak coating the background.
This wine is our Lethbridge take on ice wine! We have frozen our Riesling and Gewurztraminer juice and removed the water, leaving just the good stuff to ferment. This wine has a gorgeous sweet palate with and fresh acid and marmalade finish.
Fermented and rested in 800Lt handmade Tuscan amphora for 11 monthts. Juicy black plums and dried herbs on the nose, blackberry, cherries and cooking spices on the palate, and most of all deliciously drinkable.
For no other reason than to be delicious. We suggest best drunk at fourteen degrees and not long after it comes into your possession. Co-fermented Sagrantino and Nero d'Avola.
