The time has come for our annual Chardonnay Benchmark Tasting for 2024! Chardonnay is the perfect match for Summer… it is the chameleon of the wine world producing everything from still to sparkling, mineral and mouthwatering, to complex and age worthy. A variety that always carries the indelible mark of the maker.
We have selected some of our favourite Chardonnay from around Australia and the world. We will be exploring the different styles from premium Australian producers alongside stand out international examples. We have raided our cellar and look forward to sharing some beautiful wines from Burgundy, South Africa and the USA. Needless to say, you can also expect to taste some Lethbridge Chardonnay including our Single Vineyards and the reserve Allegra.
The tasting will include three flights of wine with accompanying nibbles. You will be tasting these wines ‘blind’, making this event an excellent opportunity to test your palate, learn something new and allow yourself to be surprised. The tasting will be hosted by our own Master of Chardonnay - Ray Nadeson.
