2022 Drumborg Chardonnay

This is another spectacular wine originating from the Doeven’s Henty vineyard. The fruit is hand picked, whole bunch pressed into new French oak for fermentation, then aged in 50% new oak for 11 months, during which time the wine undergoes a full malolactic fermentation. The cool climate and schist soil on limestone creates a wine of high acidity, freshness and minerality.
