The Story: In 2018 I was lucky enough to become a new father not once, but twice! Sort of... The first of my two children was a parcel of Grenache born and raised in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Although lovingly coddled through its infancy in the vineyard, it was in for some old-fashioned tough love. The parenting techniques employed included partial crushing, a nice cold soak and a daily stomping for good measure. The other child was a beautiful baby boy names Henry, who being practically perfect in every way required no such treatment. His only apparent flaw is the inability to share a bottle of wine with his dad. So, with an eye to the future this wine was made to hopefully be drinking as deliciously as it is now when Henry and I can cheers his birth in the years to come.
