New wines reviewed on The Wine Front

Our two new release wines have been reviewed by Campbell Mattinson on The Wine Front. The 2010 Ooh La La Chardonnay recieved 91+ points and is 'a goodun for sure'. Wine Companion 2012 Released

Last week we had glowing reviews in the new Australian Wine Companion 2012; the Dr Nadeson Riesling 2010 scored 96 points, the Lethbridge Shiraz 2009 scored 95, the Lethbridge Pinot Noir 2009, Pinot Gris 2010 and Que Syrah Syrah 2009 Shiraz scored 94 and the Lethbridge Chardonnay 2009 scored 93.
Lethbridge Wines also recieved 5 Red Stars, indicating an 'outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity.'
We are very pleased to get such great reviews from Australias foremost authority and bestselling guide to wine.

Lethbridge Pinot Noir 2010
Campbell Mattinson
2010 was a wetter, cooler vintage in southern Victoria and it did a lot of good for much of the local pinot noir. This one was cold soaked for ten days prior to wild yeast fermentation. It saw 30 percent whole bunches and 35 percent new oak. I liked this from the first sip. It’s tangy and refreshingly acidic but it has the flavour and tannin to support it. Earth, rhuburb, dark cherries, and sweet dry spices. Lots of grainy, sinewy dryness reaching out through the finish. Feels natural, balanced and long. Feels prickly and alive, in a good way. Drinks well now, though it will take kindly to some age too.

The recently released 2010 Lethbridge Geelong Shiraz has just been given a great review by Campbell Mattinson on The Wine Front website. He scored the wine a very high 93+ and said it is 'clearly [a] cracking cool climate shiraz'.
