This week we have been picking the olives from the trees around the winery and vineyard. It has been cold and rainy, and is late in the year for olive picking, but we hope it will be worth it. We are pickling some of the olives and having most of them cold pressed for extra virgin olive oil. The results are all for personal use but there may be some tastes available at the cellar door when they are finished.

Despite having had to harvest in the cold and the rain I am sure that when you come to use your delicious oil you'll be glad you made the effort! I hope your weather improves soon.
